Thumbs Up Products

These are just a couple of cosmetic products I enjoy using and would buy again:)

 Garnier Roll-on anti-dark circle with tint $17
I found this stuff amazing! I heard about it on one of the beauty gurus video and just had to try it. I never wear foundation with out it now. I have noticed it reduces the puffy-ness under my eyes but I have definitely noticed how it was covered the dark circles around my eyes. Would recommend to everyone! :)

Maybelline New York Define-a-lash Volume Mascara $17-$20
This mascara is the perfect mascara... to me anyway. It can build up so if I wanted think long eyelashes one day I can keep applying more or if I wanted natural eyelashes just do a quick coat. It doesnt clump, smudge or run easily. It is great for top and bottom eyelashes how ever you wear them.

Maxfactor Lasting Performance in shade Pastelle 102 $36.50
For the price you would hope this foundation does everything. Its true, this foundation has excellent coverage, spreads and blends well, lasts all day and semi-water proof. Even thought the bottle doesnt say anything about it being water proof, I'v worn this to the beach and at the end of the day even after splashing in the water the foundation is still there. I picked a colour too dark for me so I cant apply too much and wear it only during summer so I dont have a dark face and white body but other than that this is the perfect foundation!

Covergirl & Olay Simplyagless Foundation in shade 210 $19.96
This foundation is probably only for certain people, it can feel a little heavy if your not used to it and it has extreme coverage. I found using a sponge gave it more coverage but rubbing it in using my fingers made it not as think and less coverage but I like coverage. And as you can see I can used it all, aha. As I have said in another post I use certain foundation for certain months, this foundation is not for winter, because it is so thick after blowing my nose once or twice it rubbed off my nose and looks gross! This foundation has its goods and bad. I like having it just in case I need coverage, it can be good lightly padded on top of another foundation and blended in well.
Olay Provital Night Cream $16.79
My mum bought this night cream for herself but didnt like it because it irritated her eye, so watch out for that, so I started using it, didnt irritate my eyes or skin at all. I love this cream I apply it every night! It is so creamy and thick, (I prefer thick moisturiser over runny thin stuff... )
This moisturiser makes my skin feel so amazing and smooth, I naturally have dry skin and this cream makes my skin moisturised all night and day. Even though I dont have mature skin yet I like to take care of my skin and face, Personally I find anti-ageing, mature skin and anti-wrinkle skin care the best on my skin, always make my face feel so much better.
Worth trying it out

Thumbs Down Products

Hello everyone,
These are just a few products I either dont like, dont work or just dont work my my skin or hair....
These are just my opinions and they may work for you but sadly they dont work for me.

 DANNI Make up Pallet,
I bought this pallet from eBay for about $8. When I received the product the eye shadows where all broken and cracked and the blushes, every time I open the case another eye shadow breaks off or crumbles... The packaging was really crap, thats why I think the shadows keeps breaking, the colours are alright but the eye brow and blushes dont match my skin tone and make up style.

 Masquerade Professional  Glitter Cream
I dont know the price because my ex boyfriend bought it for me, sorry. This glitter cream/eye shadow looks nice in the packaging but looks cheap on your eyes. I tried applying it with a eye sponge, brush, my finger... everything but every time the glitter either clumps up or it just spaces out too much, I tried just applying more but it goes clumpy. Definitely would not recommend.

 Vitality Hair Colour Plus Pink
This hair dye is meant to least a couple of washes but it didnt even last the first rinse... the bottle says leave colour on for 5-30min depending on how vibrant you want the colour, I left it on for 45min... rinsed it out and it looked like a faded disgusting pink that had been in my hair for 6 weeks already. Complete waste of money, I cant remember the price exact but I think it was around $15-$18.

 BYS Liquid Foundation $5
Just to start this off I didnt buy this myself, my friend bought it and it was too light for her so she gave it to me so I'm not too disappointed sense I didnt pay for it and also the price sort of says it wont be the best foundation. Anyway I tried the foundation on the other day and it just slipped straight off my skin and had absolutely no coverage what so ever! I dont normally have oily skin so foundations dont really slip off my face but this one just came straight off. The colour was also really orange on my skin.

Covergirl Trublend in shade Ivory 405 $17
I used to always buy this foundation and loved it (when I was younger, and didnt want as much coverage.) I dont know if they have done something to the formula recently or my skin has just changed a lot since last time I bought it but I tried it the other month and it came out all splotchy really runny. The coverage isn't great and it doesnt seem to stay on to well. I use this foundation in winter when I am not as tanned, in winter most people are having the sniffles and want a foundation that is going to stay on their nose when they use a tissue, well thats not the case with this foundation. It came off straight away. Not what it used to be...

Coral Colours Cosmetics in shade NUDE 716 $8
This lipstick is like a bad concealer! Its so dry, matte and think! When I apply it on my lips it actually looks like I just applied concealer to them. This is that it looks like on...
I have tried blending it too, just looks gross.
If I ever got desperate enough I would probably use this as a concealer, aha.
Would not recommend.

Anyone know of a good nude lipstick?

Acrylic Nail Designs

I have always loved the look of acrylic nails to my own natural nails, my nails have an awkward shape, are weak and the nail polish always comes off to quickly. That is why I prefer acrylic nails. After searching the web here are some designs I found and thought I should share with you all...

These ones are my designs...

Excuse the ugly toes haha

Nail Polish Dupes

NARS Purple Rain $17

As soon as I found these pictures I knew I must have this nail polish but after seeing the price I think I will look for a dupe... Ive heard the China Glaze Let's Grove and pretty similar.

OPI Russian Navy $19
Dupe
Revlon Midnight Affair
Only difference I can really see is the Revlon polish has more sparkles in it, personally I like sparkles and anything glitter so I would rather the Revlon nails polish.

Zoya Tallulah
 Dupe
Sally Hanson Flash,
Only a touch lighter that the Zoya polish other than that look pretty identical.

I'm In Love!

When I have money to spend these are definitely going to be the first things on my list!

Jeffrey Campbell Lana $159
Zigi Declare boot $290
Vans Sneaker Blue and Pink Cheetah $45
Sam Edelman Roza Shoe in Leopard Calf Hair $208
Pink with Rhinestones 5 3/4" Heel with Ribbon Bow Tie Pumps $160

What I used to get my hair white blonde

I've wanted white blonde hair since I was 12, but too lazy to put the effort in to get it...
I am naturally a dark or dirty blonde. Before I bleached it my hair colour was this.....
Yes they are extensions. ^^

I bleached my hair twice with these products.....

Hi Lift Blue Bleach 150g $6.99
Innovative Creme Developer 30vol 200ml $3.99

I left it in for 15min first time all over then 5min on my underneath layers second time.
After that my hair was a little yellow and not at white as I wanted so I used this toner....

Schwartzkopf Professionals Igora Colour Gloss in the colour Iceflower 92g $21

This is the best toner I have ever used, even on the first use you can really see the difference!! At first I was unsure about it because of the size and the price but it comes out as foam so there is a lot of product inside and the price, I think, is worth it.
Definitely recommend it!

Anyway this is how my hair turned out....

I need to do the underneath layer again because it is still a little caramelly coloured... Im waiting for my hair to be more healthy again first....

For my after care I have been using these products...

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Shampoo 250ml $15.99

Actually does make your hair Go Blonder

Schwartzkopf Extra Care Ultimate Repair Anti-Damage Mask 250ml $8.99

Pantene Always Smooth Leave In Moisturiser 300 ml $7.99

Every time I finish washing my hair I put a tiny amount (about [______] ) in my hair while its still damp. It say you can put it in wet or dry but when I put it in dry it made my hair oily looking... but when I put it in damp my hair feels amazing when it dries.
Recommended

Good luck with your hair if you are planning to bleach it :)

Rainbow Cake

Hey everyone,
So this is my first attempt at baking a rainbow cake.
If you want to know how I made it keep reading...

I cant remember exactly what I did and the measurement I used but doesn't really matter with this.....

First
I bought a packet of cake Vanilla cake mix, doesnt really have to be vanilla but as long as the cake mix is white. the cake mix came with the frosting mix as well... I bought some white chocolate melts to give the icing a little more flavour and sweetness, I also bought a packet of Smarties.
For the icing I melted about 3/4 of the pack of melts then added it to the cake frosting mix and mixed well this an electric beater.
Pretty much all you have to do is follow the cake mixes instructions on the box, then before cooking it devide the cake mix into how ever many colours you want to use, I used 6 colours red, pink, purple, blue, green and yellow. add a few drops of food colouring to each cup of cake mix and mix the cake mix so the colour is evenly spread through the cake mix.
Then add each colour into a cake tray, one colour at a time into the middle of the tray, add each colour on top of the last colour in the middle.
Bake the cake, wait for it to cool then add icing and Smarties.
Sorry I'm not very good at instructions... but I hope this helped
Good luck
